Nutrition Communications Assistant – Part Time

Triad to Wellness is seeking a Part-Time Nutrition Communications Assistant with public relations experience, nutrition credentials and/or higher level business qualifications, with a deep passion for nutrition and healthy living

With a focus on supporting the growth of wholesome natural products through the development of creative recipes, event hosting, digital content development and more, Triad to Wellness are the experts at educating and inspiring the consumption of new healthy products as they launch into the marketplace. 

Working with our extensive health food and commodity board clients – our small team of nutrition experts provides high-level strategic consulting on both nutrition communications and new product development, execute first-in-class nutrition programs and manage an array of wellness and dietitian focused influencer relationships for our clients. 

The Nutrition Communications Assistant will support multiple food accounts, handling nutrition and public relations tasks ranging from building media dietitian relationships, assisting with recipe and online nutrition content creation, as well as assist with new business development.


What we are looking for:

  • Prior nutrition communications and new product development experience
  • Bachelor degree in nutrition OR nutrition and dietetics
  • Qualifications in business, communications or entrepreneurship will be looked upon favorably 
  • Passion for new and social media strategies and campaigns 
  • Nutritional philosophies that reflect those of Triad to Wellness  
  • Confidence in approaching new clients

What you will do:

  • Develop consumer and expert-focused digital and traditional communications materials 
  • Liaise with current and new dietitian and wellness influencers
  • Assist in handling nutrition-focused events 
  • Conduct recipe development projects utilizing client products 
  • Participate in nutrition-related campaign creation ideation
  • Provide expert advice on new healthy product development as required
  • Work with a team of nutrition experts, including helping facilitate nutrition internships 
  • Support new business development

This role will commence in February 2017, initially part-time (15-30 hours per week) with the potential to expand into a full-time position.
